Significant projects

  • The project to produce a new auxiliary contact of a contactor for the ABB company

    Linaset cooperates with the ABB company as a supplier of auxiliary contacts for contactors and beside that, as a supplier of injection moulded parts made of thermoplastics and thermosets. Cooperation has been running successfully since 1993. Now we supply our products for 4 plants in Europe.

    In 2006, a customer addressed us with a project to develop a new model for an auxiliary contact of contactors, which will be launched in 2009.

    Linaset developed a complete proposal for a new model of auxiliary contact for contactors for the customer, involving the design and manufacture of injection moulds, assembly and inspection equipment and production of the product itself, including proposals to automate some workplaces associated with an increase in productivity.

    • In cooperation with the customer and other contractors, we carried out product development.
    • We ensured the production of 12 injection moulding tools. All of them were realized using our own capacities.
    • With partners, we have realized the production of assembly lines, production and inspection equipment, we have developed and produced automated workplaces. We have developed an automatic device for the pre-assembly of contacts in collaboration with the partner. In cooperation with the Aktivit company, we have developed an automatic device for laser printing of contactors and checking of contactors together with checking of the conductivity of contacts, dielectric breakdown, unscrewing of screws in the product. The device has been adapted for the postponement of nonconforming items, including laser printing and defects identification.
    • An obvious requirement was that all devices must meet all the required safety standards in the area of mechanical and electrical engineering.
    • In the area of ​​purchased raw materials and components for manufacturing, in cooperation with the customer, we have contracted subcontractors and ensured complete logistics for the new model of auxiliary contact for the contactors.
    • In cooperation with the customer, we tuned and tested the product in terms of quality and production. We performed optimization of the production process in terms of the required productivity and the minimizing of costs. In January 2010, we started the serial production and delivery of a new model of auxiliary contact for contactors, see photo.
    • The product was successfully launched in 2010 and is available in many countries on every continent.
  • Project for the production of tools for headlights of the VAZ for the HELLA company

    Linaset has been cooperating with the Hella company as a supplier of moulds for the automotive industry since 2011.

    In 2012, a customer addressed us with a project for the production of tools for the production of headlights for VAZ model 2192 cars.

    Linaset developed complete proposal for the implementation of 2 moulds for the customer for headlights of the VAZ 2192a covering the proposal for design, manufacture of injection moulds and preparation and debugging of pressing tools for serial production at the customer.

    • In collaboration with customers and other contractors, we carried out product development
    • In order to eliminate problems in serial production, we designed moulding modifications for the customer on the basis of a risk analysis and mould flow analysis. In cooperation with the customer, we agreed the final version of the assignment.
    • We secured the production of two injection tools using our own capacities.
    • The whole project was implemented within eight months.
      In cooperation with the customer, we tuned and tested moulds in terms of quality and production. In the first half of 2013, the customer will launch mass production using these instruments.
  • Project of production of a new kettle for the P&G company

    Linaset has been cooperating with P&G company as a supplier of a wide range of home appliances, e.g.: coffee makers, juicers, meat mincers, blenders, and kettles since 1999. In partnership with the P&G company, we cover the entire production and logistic process and are a supplier of finished products to the consumer market.

    In 2009, a customer addressed us with a project to develop a new model of kettle, which will be launched in 2011.

    Linaset developed a complete proposal for a new model of kettle for the customer, including product development and design expertise, the proposal for the design and manufacture of injection moulds, assembly equipment and production of the product itself, including proposals to automate some workplaces associated with an increase of productivity.

    • In collaboration with customers, designers and other contractors, we carried out product development and design.
    • We ensured the production of 8 injection moulding tools, 5 of which we implemented using our own capacities. Then we made adjustments and debugging of moulds, and contracted with subcontractors.
    • With partners, we have realized the production of assembly lines, production and inspection equipment, we have developed and produced automated workplaces. With the contracting company, we implemented the development and production of automatic equipment for placing windows into the body of the kettle. In cooperation with the Bayer company, we tuned fully automated printing of the handle of the kettle.
    • In the area of ​​purchased raw materials and components for manufacturing, in cooperation with the customer, we contracted subcontractors and ensured complete logistics for the new model of kettle. We conducted verification and testing of purchased inputs.
    • In cooperation with the customer, we tuned and tested the product in terms of quality and production. We performed optimization of the production process in terms of the required productivity and the minimizing of costs. In January 2011, we started serial production and delivery of the new model of kettle.
    • The product was successfully launched in January 2011 and is available in many countries around the world.
  • Project of jet pump production for gasoline fuel for the BOSCH company

    Linaset has been cooperating with the Bosch company as a supplier of moulds and a manufacturer of parts and assemblies for the automotive industry since 1998.

    At the end of 2011, a customer addressed us with a project for the production of jet pumps for petrol pumps.

    Linaset collaborated to design a new model of jet pump and ensured the proposal for the design and manufacture of injection moulds, assembly and inspection equipment and production of the product itself, including proposals for automating assembly workplaces associated with increasing productivity.

    • We ensured the production of 5 injection moulding tools using our own means.
    • With partners, we realized the production of assembly and inspection equipment, and developed and produced automated workplaces. In cooperation with the supplier, we developed an automatic device for installation and inspection. In addition to automatic assembly, the machine ensures camera tests of dimensions, throughput and offset of nozzles, checking of any burrs, and checks the correctness of assembly. Checking for pump leaks and flow control is performed using compressed air. Defective pieces are automatically discarded by the machine and all assembly steps and inspections are recorded using the software in the device itself with possible data transfer to a PC for analysis.

  • Cooperation with the SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC company

    We have been cooperating with Schneider Electric as a supplier of moulds, manufacturer of parts and assemblies for the electrical industry since 1995. We cooperate in the area of the supply of thermoset and thermoplastic parts.

    Within our cooperation, we have carried out projects for new productions as well as transfers of running projects from foreign factories of Schneider Electric.

    We currently perform supplies to the SE factory in Písek and to three factories in France. Parts manufactured by us are mainly used in various types of contactors, circuit breakers, electrical controls, starters and transformers.

    We provide customers with complete delivery services, including the production of new and duplicate injection moulds, general repairs and maintenance of tools.

    Annually, we supply about 12 million parts or assemblies for our customers.

  • Cooperation with the SIEMENS company

    We have been cooperating with the Siemens company as a supplier of moulding tools and manufacturer of parts since 1994. We work mainly in the area of the supply of thermoset parts.

    In the past, we carried out projects within new productions as well as transfers of production means from our customers.

    We currently supply the six divisions of the Siemens company in the Czech Republic, Germany and Colombia. Parts manufactured by us are mainly used in electric motors, for which we produce terminal boards with metal inserts of various types and sizes.

    We provide customers with complete delivery services, including the production of new and duplicate injection moulds, general repairs and maintenance of tools. Every year, we supply around one million parts for the six divisions of our customer.

  • Production of injection moulds for the Ford Mondeo headlights for the Varroc company

    Linaset has been working with the Varroc company as a supplier of moulding tools and a manufacturer of parts for the automotive industry since 2007.

    In 2008, a customer addressed us with a project for the production of pressing tools for the production of car headlights for the Ford Mondeo (2010-2012 model).

    Linaset developed a complete implementation proposal for 6 moulds for the customer for headlights of the new Ford Mondeo model, including the design of construction, manufacture of injection moulds and preparation and debugging of moulds for serial production at the customer.

    • In collaboration with customers and other contractors, we carried out product development
