Charitable activities of Linaset, a.s.
The company Linaset, a.s., as one of the major companies operating in Bruntál and the Opava region, does not neglect its responsibility towards society and, therefore, upon the decision of the Board of 24th May 2010, it established its own endowment fund.
The objective of the endowment fund is to help people who have got into a difficult situation through no fault of their own. These cover essentially severe health troubles, losses of family members with a significant economic impact on the rest of the family (especially children), or disasters. The activities include donations to health facilities in the form of contributions to workplace equipment and purchases of modern technology.
Financial assistance is tied to the region in which the company operates and where its employees live. The fund is annually topped up to 150,000 CZK. Any unused amount is carried forward to the following year.
Direct applications for financial assistance may be submitted to the General Manager of the company during the year. The applicant is an individual as a physical entity, or a legal entity. The applicant does not need to ask for personal help, but he/she can ask for help for their loved ones, or for people for who he/she know they need a financial help.
About the use of financial funds decides the chairman of the company´s directorate. The company provides annual report about financial funds one time per year, which is published on the company's website.
